We built in an old area and our house is therefore >30 years younger than all the others, so it really stands out. We definitely did not want WHITE, it can be something different for a change. However, it wasn't more expensive with our provider... We chose a medium gray and to make it less dull, we put color strips in grass green between our windows. The consultant at the sampling just said "bold." We think it's great! Recognition value: top! It's something different. The outdoor areas are not laid out yet, but that will make it look a bit tidier and, together with the green of the plants, it will certainly form a nice unit. So you can better judge me: my car is orange... (yes, bright blue would have been preferable to me too, but I definitely did not want black, gray, silver, or white!!!)

Each of us has seen these houses before... dark blue, pink, bright red... I just have to say thank God there is a development plan that restricts such things. If everyone were so "bold," then a new development area would look like a kindergarten neighborhood. Somehow, almost everyone tries to build something "special" in an intrusive way... one just wonders why? What is so bad about subtle colors? Does it have to burn in the eyes and can the house still be seen from a radius of 1 km?

Subtle colors like beige or light gray are also okay, but that is different from red

So what? That would be great! Momo and the Grey Gentlemen - why does being an adult always have to be discreet, pastel, and inconspicuous?

Some people find it great and others less so, that's simply the answer to your question. It also has nothing to do with being an adult. If it is allowed in the development plan, then nothing can be prescribed and you have to live with it if the neighbor paints their house dark purple. Therefore, I am glad if it is not allowed from the start, it's simply a matter of taste.

:-) My husband would agree with you, so I am glad that he also likes bricks, so that I don't have to live in a white house ;)
