At our semi-detached house, the windows will be installed soon...
Now the architect told us that once the windows are in, the exterior plaster should be applied soon after. This is because we are building a semi-detached house, the neighbor started much earlier, and will be moving in soon as well. We’re not really sure what to think about the plaster being applied so early... He says it’s not a problem... We are not so sure about that. For us, the house connections still need to be done. According to the contractor, this will only be done once the scaffolding is removed... Is it really not a problem that the exterior plaster goes on so early? What about all the connections that are also routed outside (water connection in the garden, switches, sockets, etc.)? Has anyone had experience with this? Or should we insist that the exterior plaster is applied only toward the end? If we should have the exterior plaster applied only at the end, do you know what happens with the other semi-detached house then? It will already be plastered by that time. Many thanks
