It’s already covered with plants. What more do you do there?
My garage (by the way greened) faces north, so naturally I don’t look that way. So what.

That wasn’t the point. The roof is already greened, just apparently not greened in a visually pleasing way. Or moss has to be removed on principle, no idea, purely functionally the green roof is finished.

Compare the moss with a mixture like Helios from Hof Berggarten. I know at least what I would choose. Vermoost certainly meets the development plan requirements, but it’s something else when it comes to aesthetics and being insect-friendly.

Are there also providers where you can mix yourself? I like the succulents better than the Sedum plants, but many mixtures have a very reddish tint.

Of course, you can mix yourself by buying seeds of individual species and mixing them. Mixtures made to order are only available from many providers starting at hectare quantities instead of square meters. However, you have to be aware that a good mixture is more than just throwing together a few little packets of seeds. A good mixture also involves experience and optimization so that the mixture suits different conditions and, in the end, no single plant dominates completely.

Ah, thanks. That is a good hint.
