The heat exchanger is still the most affordable part of the investment. Saving 1,000 out of 10,000 and risking a nice cool draft in the house? You can also skip the [Kontrollierte-Wohnraumlüftung] and ventilate normally.

What is mostly done nowadays (supply and exhaust ventilation system) usually costs between 10,000 and 15,000 € for a single-family house. What I was offered is 12,000 €. The above alternative will cost between 3,000 and 4,000 €. It could be interesting for us if there are no disadvantages, but unfortunately, I can't say that now and I don't want to take the risk.

The disadvantages were already mentioned to you. It is also not a ventilation system without heat recovery but an exhaust system. Those are two completely different things.

It also has nothing to do with Mercedes; for 12000 you will probably only get a Golf installed. It's more like a moped you have in mind.

Recommendable, no.

But certainly better than nothing at all.

Many people also have holes made in window frames and are happy with that.

4-6000 euros maybe also 1000 more everything else is a rip-off it is nothing new to me here it is often tried to rip money out of the customer's pocket.

A good controlled residential ventilation system costs at least 10,000, 6-7 is at most possible with own labor.
