Experience with air heat pump from alpha innotec

Hands off alpha innotec! Not only did it take over 1 1/2 months for a technician (a subcontractor of alpha innotec!) to take a look at the malfunction of our Innotec air heat pump, he searched for a fault for 2 hours only to find out that the compressor was broken (after barely more than 5 years!!). After that, he drove back 80 km. In any case, I was charged for this effort. Afterwards, an offer from the company alpha innotec was supposed to be made, which only happened after several inquiries. And the kicker: the repair/replacement of the compressor would have cost almost €4,000, as much as I paid for the entire system 5 years ago. Consequence: I threw out the alpha innotec air heat pump and installed a normal boiler operated by the burner. Hands off alpha innotec!

Which model does it concern?

I have a LWDV 91-1/3 myself, had a circuit board replacement under warranty in just under 2 years, otherwise it runs smoothly..

Before that, it was an LWAV 82, with which I had trouble for over 5 years, failure/repair every few months.. after 3 years I got a complete replacement, also under warranty.

So my experience: devices so-so, service itself good, at least during the warranty period...

We are getting one too. What I found online about it was not much but actually read fine. Friends of ours have had one since 2020 and no problems with it, except that the electrician apparently connected it incorrectly at first. That was then noticed during the maintenance. We will have a Hybrox 5.

It was a BWP 190S in our case. A malfunction (error message; no hot water) had already occurred 1 1/2 years ago. At that time, the error was simply resolved by turning it off and on again without finding a cause of the error. For us, alpha innotec is no longer an option. On the one hand, the technology is prone to faults and the customer service is neither competent nor reliable.
