The pool is supposed to be about 6 x 3 m in size. The neighbors were of course not happy.
We would have also preferred if it hadn't come to this. We had always sought conversation and had already expressed our concerns regarding the structural integrity weeks before the action. Even while the excavation was ongoing, we expressed our concerns again and referred to DIN 4123. But the response was only that their service provider already knew what he was doing, after which we announced that on Monday we would get the opinion of the building authority on this.

Oh, I could already imagine having a South Sea panorama with a sunset over a bay of Koh Samui sprayed on a garage wall - of course only with the permission of the garage owner.

Let's see how the neighborly relationship changes. Such an incident, which involves more effort and probably also costs, can really spoil the mood. Neighbors have clashed over less than that.

For less I had no understanding but exactly for this I did. Mindless work was done here. I remember a case in Saarland that I will never forget, house foundation uncovered and everything collapsed. And if you look for it, you will find dozens of examples where exactly that happens.
