30€ will be net, not gross. It fits with the old contract. But it doesn't matter. I would take out a proper RLV for the outstanding debt for the woman.

Welcome to the forum. The financing and the conditions are great.

Now comes the but

Don’t you want to renovate or expand at all? Tell us something about the condition of the house. A spontaneous thought from me: A heating system is due after 26 years, if it’s not already new.

Oh yes, of course. After 36 everything is worn out. I hope the thing has already been renovated.

Hello everyone, thank you very much for the responses. We have a RLV over 500k (partner contract in case of death). I inspected the house with an expert and he hardly had anything to complain about. All the drain pipes were replaced in 2018 and the heating in 2015.

The attic was only converted in 2000. The wooden windows (teak or mahogany, I don't remember anymore) are all still in great condition. We want to paint first, redo the floors in the living room and kitchen, and install a new kitchen. We'll leave the bathrooms as they are for now and renovate them later. Of course, they are designed in an 80s style, but there is no rot or mold. I will retile them gradually with my dad.

We could certainly spend more, but for now, we only want to spend 30k of our 38k, i.e. 20k for ancillary costs and 10k for the most important things. I need a bit of a reserve in the account, otherwise I can't sleep well. If we move in in October, the next bonus will come in March, so until then I can shower in Bahama beige.

The BU now costs just under 40 euros for a sum of 2000. I have had the contract for almost 10 years, which is why it is very cheap.

Unless the offer is not from Hypovereinsbank, which I can well imagine (location, because of the term and no repayment rate change), then definitely inquire.

The bank excludes the KFW loan from the loan-to-value calculation (condition determination), so it counts as equity.

Otherwise, definitely also talk to Sparkasse Stade Altes-Land and Sparkasse Harburg-Buxtehude.
