ETW - Internal bathroom

Do you have the possibility to stay in the bathroom while someone in the neighboring apartment is there / talking? I once had an interior bathroom in a multi-unit building, and the bathrooms were adjacent in neighboring apartments, and I found the noise pollution there unbearable. We moved out for that reason. You couldn’t take a bath without being constantly disturbed by the neighboring apartment. This included not only bathroom noises but also music and basically everything else.

Unfortunately not - new construction. The more I deal with ETWs, the more I probably can't avoid a semi-detached house/RE end house or at most a 2-unit owners' association... too many variables that can't be influenced... somehow a little horror, and usually for around 400-550k.

Yes, bought the condo 5 years ago, moved in 4 years ago. I think it's great here. I hardly hear anything from the neighbors. If the space wouldn't run out, I would stay here...

Does anyone have experience with an interior bathroom? Maybe it’s just the "thought," since I’ve always had a window so far. I only know it from hotels...

I do.
It was totally fine, even when putting on makeup. Nowadays there are even daylight lamps and motion lights, so "no natural light" hardly matters.

Not at all. We’re talking about multi-family houses, not single-family houses. The compact floor plan design in multi-family houses is the reason. These are built cost-effectively – the plot is utilized, the house is built without gaps. Worse would be if the kitchen were interior, but even that wouldn’t be a reason for rejection with a great location and other advantages.

But it should be reflected in the price, since interior bathrooms are a "disadvantage."

We do have two daylight bathrooms with very large panes, but an interior bathroom would not be a deal breaker!
