Example: At Hannoversche, by increasing equity by €2800, I get a -0.3% better interest rate for 20 years compared to 10 years, also at Hannoversche o_O Although the terms are apples VS. oranges, I’m happy to pay a bit more in interest for more convenience over a longer period... I’ll make an appointment next week to verify everything with all the offers... There’s usually still some wiggle room on site anyway!

No, it has only gone higher. Man, you’re stuck so deep in the hole with your 0.x% that you don’t even see where the common horizon is on average.

But it does make a difference when interest rates suddenly rise by 0.5% and construction costs by 20%. Normally, an increase in interest rates goes hand in hand with a decrease in construction costs.

Yes, but not over 3 months and 0.5%, rather over several years and 5%.

But over several years, construction costs also go down. So, within a few weeks, both have gone up.

But that is due to the recovering economy after Corona. It was foreseeable though. Nothing will fall either. Autumn will be interesting. However, I think we will take the UK as an example. Without Corona, both (construction costs and house prices) would also have risen. Probably not the interest rates. But that's just how it is. No one has a crystal ball.
