Hello,
I am not exactly sure if I have found the right place to ask this question.
We have purchased an apartment in an old building, which is currently being renovated by a builder. It is to be handed over turnkey.
Now we have a specification sheet with flooring:
Hallway/ kitchen Material price 30€/sqm as desired
Living room, bedroom a parquet floor with a material price of 40€/sqm
Children's room carpet floor Material price 25€/sqm
We want parquet everywhere except in the kitchen.
We have spoken to the parquet dealer. The planned parquet costs 40€/sqm including installation plus 11€ preparatory work.
Our selected parquet costs 3€ per. All prices plus VAT.
Now he has calculated that we must additionally pay for preparatory work for the bedroom and hallway.
Perhaps someone can answer the questions swirling around in our heads:
As desired means in our opinion that one can choose whether tiles, parquet, etc. Thus, the necessary preparatory work should be borne by the builder.
According to the specification sheet, parquet is planned in the bedroom, but unlike the living room, a click parquet is to be laid there, which in our opinion is counterproductive with underfloor heating.
There should then also be no additional costs (except for the 3€ for the more expensive floor).
How is it generally?
According to the parquet dealer, the parquet costs 40€ including installation. But according to the description, we have 40€ for materials.
No floor is to be laid in the storage room, is that okay for a turnkey property?
Also, a floor worth about 20€ was laid in the kitchen. Should the difference be credited here?
Best regards,
tobia
