Energy Saving Regulation data (building volume etc.) are high - why?

Hello,

I have received my calculation for my house and they are quite high?!

Building volume Ve = 875
Enclosure surface area = 610
Usable building area An = 280

My living area is about 230 m2 including balcony, terrace, etc. (Balcony + terrace are 20 m2)

The problem is that all calculators give me a heating load of about 7. That sounds very high to me for a KfW40+. What do you think?

The actual heated living area is only about 170 m2. Everything else are utility rooms in the basement, balcony, etc.

Hello,

no one can assess that from a distance with the given information.

It depends on what values you enter into the calculators. For KfW40+ that actually sounds like a lot, but Energieeinsparverordnung and KfW are strange values.

You can search the big search engine for the keywords Crink, Tool, heating load. You will come to another forum. With a few details (HT value, NAT, building volume, ventilation, average room temperature) you get a very good estimate there.

You will probably have a warm roof, right? This is included in the heated area.

Yes, I have a hipped roof. Would it help if we planned a ceiling on the upper floor?

Now first check your data before you take any structural measures?! What HT value do you have?
