Well, basically it’s quite simple. You start a service company. Be sure not to register a craft listed under the tradesman role. You can register a janitorial service. Then do it as a side business with the small business regulation. Simplified accounting, no VAT, etc. Then you simply register the mini-jobber. Everything official and therefore no stress. A janitorial service can also plaster a wall, install an outlet, or paint the wooden beam. I have done it like that before. As a company, you also get better discounts and purchasing conditions, for example you can buy directly from Würth, at Metro, etc. If you make more than 1000 euros in sales today on Ebay Classifieds, the tax office already requires you to register a business, even if there is no direct intention to make a profit. And when the construction is finished, you just deregister again.

And then we wonder about undeclared work. Fits with the other topic. But you can still hire a craftsman as a private person, just not as a mini-job. You probably have to register him with the tax office and the health insurance. Unfortunately, it is much more complicated.

No, it is not necessary and not complicated either.

Simply register with the Minijob-Zentrale of the German Pension Insurance Knappschaft-Bahn-See and that's it. Up to 520 euros, the minijob is also not subject to social security contributions. Gross is equal to net. Of course, the minimum wage must be observed.

That is simply not possible for craftsmen. Only for household helpers.

I can only imagine two things: 1. You do not read the posts that come before your answer or 2. You ignore the previous posts as fake news because you think you know better Option minijob for private individuals as employers (only domestic work): Option minijob for commercial activities (like construction) - then you need a business as an employer: Oh yes, the info comes from your link to the Minijob-Zentrale. Have you already read or informed yourself there?

Wrong again.

Once more. As a commercial employer, you register the mini-jobber (538 Euro) with the Knappschaft as I described.
Both as a private and as a commercial employer.

Register a side business with small business regulation and then you are a commercial employer and can hire a janitor or something else. Except for crafts trades that are subject to master craftsman obligations.

The turnover limit is 22,000 euros for small business operators. Issuing invoices is possible, but showing and deducting VAT, however, is not.
A simple profit and loss statement is also sufficient.
