Hello everyone!

Well, if I were to bundle many cables directly next to each other in a cable tray over long distances, I would be concerned about the loop impedance... but it is a rectangular 140 sqm floor plan with 4 rooms, where the utility room (I call it MFR) is centrally located.

By the way: I will carry out the work myself, so actually only the material costs are an issue in terms of the installation effort.
I want to combine the whole thing with Alexa control and hope for maximum freedom from this type of installation.
Of course, I also fear a conceptual error, which is why I am asking you...

The connection of the distribution box and the final acceptance will be done by a master electrician friend of mine.

Then just google „
Amazon Alexa overloaded at Christmas“

Which actuators should Alexa talk to? Has a system already been decided?

Before you start pulling cables, first plan exactly what you intend to do.

Specifically, I haven't planned anything yet, but I have already seen that there are Alexa-enabled surface-mounted switches which can be operated either conventionally or via Alexa. A conventional design or installation with surface-mounted switches is important to me. Being able to switch ONLY by voice commands seems annoying to me.

Furthermore, an Alexa-enabled blind control is important to me. But there are also such switches that can be addressed as described above.

And why Alexa?

If you find voice controls annoying sooner or later anyway. (Which will certainly happen)

Surface-mounted switch in new construction?

Why actually lay all the wiring centrally when you arrange the actuators decentrally at the respective switching point?
