Accesspoint = Access Point, a device which is connected to the router via LAN (=cable) and locally sets up a WLAN (=radio). They are also available from AVM, which IMHO is difficult for laypersons to find there, because they are listed there as repeaters. These are the "Fritz!WLAN Repeater" that have a LAN port, for example "Fritz!WLAN Repeater 1750E".
