I'm really proud of our new bathroom cabinet.
In its layout, it is basically like the white-coated particleboard one that was there before.
But this one is muuch nicer (to my taste).
For example, the walls are only about 10 mm thick.
It's stained multiplex plywood, painted with Tokinoise lacquer. (so it looks and is much lighter than the old one)
The drawers have full extensions.
The fittings are made of stainless steel ... the eyelets are actually made for hanging the heaviest loads ... the bottom one has a fastening screw with a diameter of 20 millimeters

Apparently, the French navy uses this lacquer to paint its wood for seafaring ... that should be enough for our bathroom ;)
Since I don't have a professional painting room, it's admittedly not as smooth as "normal" painted surfaces, but it has a very special charm that I really like.

On top, in front of the 3 LEDs, there will be a cover through which the light will shine.
So far, I haven't decided exactly what it will look like. My current plan was to punch a steel sheet with a pretty pattern, but I think that will be too much metal ... we'll see ... maybe it'll be frosted glass, like we have in other parts of the bathroom.

oh yes, the progression of the drawers getting larger towards the bottom was a "real" task. A relative has so much mathematical understanding that he was able to create a formula for me (two other willing helpers failed at it  )

Great project, great property, great quality - regardless of whether it would be my style. I think it's great how you shape your living environment yourself with ingenuity, heart, and energy.

Thank you :)
For me, this is one of the basics of life.
Traveling has a positive, inwardly "opening" effect (... okay ...), but I think home should be so comfortable that you don't "have to" go anywhere else.
Unfolding your own creativity (which, in my conviction, EVERYONE* has within themselves) makes you happy and peaceful.

Respect! You have to be able to do that first!

Respect. Even if it’s not my taste, I think it’s well done. I’ve also made some furniture myself.
