Hello everyone,

I have been a member of this forum since today and am now writing my first topic, exciting

We bought a plot of land that is almost 700 m² in size.
In order for the bungalow (125 m²) to be built on it, the following earthworks must be carried out (according to geologists after soil samples):

At the front left, the soil must be dug out about 3 m and then replaced layer by layer + compacted. In the middle/back left, 1.25 m of topsoil must be removed and filled with gravel + compacted.
Then the plot must be filled with 50 cm of load-bearing soil so that we are above street level...

And then everything should be prepared so that the base is ready...

Can anyone tell me roughly how much this will cost if you hire a company?

We are already waiting for an offer, but have no idea/comparisons...

Best regards FrauGese

Hello,

No one can answer that reliably because there are too many unknowns in your post. For example, what type of floor is involved in the part that needs to be replaced? Furthermore, prices vary so much nationwide that even approximate values are bound to be wrong. Everything is possible between EUR 3,500 and an open-ended upper scale.

Kind regards

What area in square meters are you talking about there?
Estimate how many square meters of gravel you will need.

Thank you both for your answers!

So, I am an absolute layman, so I hope you can still help me despite my half-knowledge

At the back left, as described above, topsoil must be removed and filled with buildable sand/gravel, because the house is supposed to stand on it. The whole thing should be done at an estimated area of about 50m² to a depth of approximately 1.25 m.
