I don't find it too big at all. The dressing room is too small for two people anyway, and then you can also put a wardrobe or a chest of drawers in the bedroom. You need space for ironing too, don't you, or where do you all iron?P.s. The bedroom is way too big... The kitchen has a holiday home character

If the utility room has to be on the ground floor, then I quite like the two floor plans (stolen from Kern-Haus. We would have built something similar as well.
I find the right version with the counter quite nice, as you can chat with your guests while cooking. If you want it less open, then just the left option.
