Yep, walls first then ceiling.
Can your project be admired in detail somewhere? We have been renovating our house from 1921 since 2017. In 2023, there will also be new drywall ceilings and a wall will be torn down and rebuilt differently. However, this time by a professional, otherwise we usually do almost everything ourselves.
Not yet. We have now gutted everything - completely on our own. Within 1.5 weeks everything was removed - 21 cubic meters or 3.5 tons had to be disposed of. That was nice 12-hour shifts for two of us - so there hasn’t been time yet.
As soon as I have some free time and it gets "interesting," I will gladly create a thread :-)
Did you also have the lattice lath in your ceilings? Apparently, there are also people who leave it in. I didn’t feel comfortable with it.
