That the barrier ends on the wooden floor and is glued there with an adhesive seam is completely okay and normal.
It would also have been sufficient to glue the foil to the floor. Especially how the foil should get to the floor below, normally the ceiling rests on the masonry.
Gluing the foil to the wooden battens in this ceiling construction does not guarantee airtightness at all. Warm indoor air can flow into the insulation through gaps behind the glued foil. Therefore, I clearly see a construction error here. I would never want such an execution. For example, the foil could have been led from above to the sole plate, and underneath the sole plate it could have been ensured that it is also airtight connected to the wall construction.
