Hello,
I have a question about drainage.
Currently, my excavation pit is dug out (1.5-2m - I know this is too deep) and I am getting a concrete slab. For frost-resistant foundation, the installation of a frost protection layer is planned for me.
The soil report states that the planum or the last meter of frost protection must be permanently drained and, if free drainage is not ensured, it must be drained via a drainage system.
Since I have clay-containing soil, water is currently standing above the first two layers of gravel.
Can someone please help me with the next steps? Do I absolutely need the drainage and at what depth should it be installed? At 1 meter, where the frost protection layer begins? How do I execute it? Do I need a permit?
Thanks in advance…
