I don’t know if you keep a household budget. We have been doing this for exactly 3 years and very meticulously. Our income situation is quite similar to yours. However, we already have 2 children in kindergarten, and the fees currently amount to 222,- per month.

After deducting all costs, we have an average savings contribution of 900,- left at the end of the month.

However, it should be noted that every year we take 2 weeks of summer vacation at the sea and usually another 3-4 days in the mountains.

If I now add our current installment for our apartment at 700,- EURO, I come exactly to your installment of 1,600,- EURO.

This is also our target, although in the last 5 years I have received an average net bonus of 10,000,- EURO per year.
