Exactly, I have nothing against the screed... it's about the vapor barrier/seal at the top to the open attic. I'm just worried that mold could spread up there^^
@ "Musketier": that's probably the case. The battens rather indicate a kind of "reinforcement" that only applies to the mounting of the foil. We are certainly not in that area when it comes to the floor! And moisture? You have always inevitably had it in every new building, without it leading to health damage. -------------------------- Thanks for the note: KlaRa
Moment...I think that this should not be dismissed and accepted so easily. I personally take mold in new buildings very seriously...especially since a vapor barrier does have a reason for existence :) Moisture is one thing...but now, where the screed is in and everything also migrates easily into the roof structure (even if it is open)...I am already concerned!
I am here at KlaRa... the problem is not really one...
And since you say the attic is uninsulated, if it was constructed properly it is ventilated... so the moisture disappears from the house through the hole and then out through the ridge...
The insulation is only on the floor. I had a conversation on site today with the site manager. At least the hole should be closed. I will nevertheless attend the expert appointment.
