Do dark gray aluminum roller shutters get too hot?

yesterday we had the sample selection for our Kfw 70 house. Matching the dark gray windows, we would like dark gray aluminum shutters, also because they are less prone to dirt. However, our window installer said that these would get too hot. Now our large windows face west. I don't understand this argument, as we also have triple glazing. What are your experiences? Blinds with wind sensors are not an option for us.

What is supposed to be the consequence according to your window installer if they get too hot?

White ones are also dirt-resistant... they are all coated anyway...

Hello, regarding the dirt resistance I can only say: pollen is more visible on dark grey roller shutters than on silver ones (that's why we decided on silver roller shutters and also blinds, as we also have very large window surfaces to shade).

Funny, the window installer and the civil engineer from the Association of Private Builders told us that aluminum roller shutters are less scratch-sensitive and do not show running grooves over time. Thanks for the answer
