Dimensions for Ikea Faktum corner base cabinet

Hello, you Faktum kitchen owners,
I’m moving soon and taking my Faktum kitchen with me.
Now I need to buy a corner cabinet.

My problem:
In the downloadable Faktum PDF overviews, the cabinet is listed as 120x60cm.
When I select it in the online shop, the dimensions show as 120x70cm!
Since the kitchen is only 5 sqm, 10 cm is really significant.
Can someone who has such a corner base cabinet please measure it and give me the actual dimensions?

Hello Lummerland, the cabinet itself is 120x60, plus a 10 cm panel that keeps the adjacent cabinet at a distance. This is to prevent the drawer of the cabinet from catching on the handle or a door from opening fully if you have internal drawers. Regards Mr. Rossi

So I could simply leave out the panel if I place a base cabinet with a door for the sink next to it

Of course with the knowledge that it will never fully open....

Hi lummerland, you cannot remove them completely, but then there is the problem that both doors, i.e. the sink base cabinet and the tall cabinet, do not open fully. You can shorten them to 22 mm and fasten them with shorter screws. This is how the cabinet was originally designed so that the doors do not rub against each other when opened. Regards Mr. Rossi

By the way, a door on the adjoining cabinet requires more space than a pull-out drawer, because the handle cannot hit the corner cabinet. However, the front of the pull-out must also be able to pass by the handle of the corner cabinet door. You just have to mentally swap the sides and replace one pull-out with a door.
