Do not forget the preparation of the electrical wiring for an electric drive.

Whereas the roller shutter box in the [Sochtbereich] of the window looks strange.

You are right. Then the box would have to go on the facade. But that also looks stupid. Or a surface-mounted box under plaster and 25 cm less window area upwards.

Not remembering. That is simply my tendency for a methodical approach: if someone asks an isolated question and misses putting it into context (here for example: to show the house - preferably the façades - it’s about), then I go look for it in their thread history. Simply because that’s nicer than writing: "Idiot, please don’t ask half questions" ;-)

This brutal architecture definitely doesn’t fit with hand-crocheted curtains :-)

No, that has just as many sides as any other coin: every nanometer-"high" dent in the ceiling plaster is blown up by the grazing light into the Grand Canyon.

I “liked” post #6 – everything is stated there, and a full quote is not necessary ;-)

It would also disqualify the window installer to fulfill this nonsensical wish.

The procedure should of course be as follows: the window receives a panel at the height of the roller shutter box, so that it can be retrofitted on any side later. From the outside, a plaster carrier comes in front of it, and from the inside probably best a lintel "in drywall".

Personally, I think only someone who also has a concrete idea of its technical implementation should want special “farts”.

Honestly: the most economically pragmatic solution is to simply order the windows with roller shutter boxes and just omit the shutter slats and the straps. Everything else is basically nonsensical overcomplication.

Thank you for the answers. I have attached the cassette of the roller shutter from the window manufacturer here. In your opinion, should I be concerned about the thermal bridge that theoretically arises between the shutter opening and the non-insulated upper part of the roller shutter cassette towards the ceiling?
