Personally, I would only have been interested in the plot if it had been around 80k, maybe we would have bought it and then see..

But from the immediate family circle there is interest in building/expansion on the plot, so I am trying to come to an agreement with the seller.

If he insists on his price, then that’s it from our side!

So you are already building on your property, did I understand that correctly? That would be cool, under 400m² is not exactly spacious, and then next to it the 500m² plus maybe together with the family...

No, we are not building!

Our house is in the 2nd row and the plot we bought is directly on the street. (about 30m in front of our kitchen window).

Since up to 3 full floors are possible on the plot and, in case of the construction of such a building, my view would be partially obstructed, we bought it! We currently use it as a "play area" for the children in our street.

Now he is also offering the adjacent plot, from which ours was subdivided 6 months ago, for sale. This part of the plot does not affect me, since it would in no way restrict or block our view, no matter what is on it or built there.

I would have actually only bought it if the price was okay, maybe to transfer it to our child in a few years or something similar. For anything else, it makes absolutely no sense for us to buy the plot, since we have decided against building.

As I said, there is interest within the family, but not at that price!

I know the market here very well and still can’t figure out how he calls for this price! Plots in the nearby area (+1-1.5 km) with old buildings on them and partly over 800sqm are offered around 130k.

Just submit a letter with the offer including a two-week deadline... If not, then not... Let him sell it to someone else if he can...

That's how we'll do it! Make a final offer and if he declines, then that's okay too.
