Decision support for wall construction

I don't know what you mean by [Daimlerstammwerk] but it sounds like [SiFi] or at least the Stuttgart metropolitan area. That's not very far from me. Around here, Poroton is often used for construction. Especially by general contractors. Often cheaper with the same insulation value.

Yes, Stuttgart metropolitan area, the Stuttgart-Untertürkheim plant is meant. Thanks for the tip, it is basically an option, I will inquire accordingly, also about the better aerated concrete. So far we have been focused rather on timber frame construction and are already quite deep into the subject there. I realize I should still do some reading about solid construction.

...so if you are not set on one option, I would definitely consider it. We are building about 35 km away from Untertürkheim. Individual contracting with an architect. In our new development area (11 plots), 3 are building with general contractors and 4 with architects; all 7 are building with Poroton, most with MZ70 from Bellenberg (2 prefabricated houses, 2 still undecided).

It is not representative but we requested both, aerated concrete and Poroton, with the result that Poroton, with one level better insulation value, was even slightly cheaper.

I ultimately decided on aerated concrete (0.09). 3000€ cheaper than Poroton. The 0.09 is also sufficient for KFW 55. It depends more on other factors. At least we are building a KfW 55 house.
