Hello Haeslebauer81,
we were also faced with this dilemma: solid house or prefab house. But eventually we found a compromise, we will build a solid prefab house. A child of our acquaintances built such a house, we looked at it and it convinced us. This variant combines the advantages of solid and prefab houses and I think it's brilliant. It is a house with Liapor walls and external insulation. One advantage is that it is built dry and thus the drying phase is eliminated. The prefab walls are dried for 14 days at about 75°C. Another advantage is the short construction time. We will sign the contract with the construction company on April 4th and at the end of May, beginning of June it will already start. If everything goes smoothly, like with our acquaintances, then we will move in 4-5 months after the start of construction.
