Daylight spots for the dining area

Should your windows be higher because the ceiling is higher? Then the window width will visually appear even narrower... A house needs the right windows - yours don't fit the design. There's really no need to argue about that ;) Honestly, I don't even know what to make of the sentence "we like the current windows best." Best of what? Already seen? How can holes be liked? If you say that you liked the sense of space in exactly this show house, I can understand that. But then you wouldn't be asking your question here, because you obviously like this dark cave effect.

To neutralize the direction, larger windows must be installed & it cannot be compensated with daylight spots.

One should not just fiddle with the symptoms..... The cause must be resolved. :p

- we had seen this window size in a show house, but the difference was that for an approx. 50 m2 room, 6 or 7 such windows were installed..
I find windows with greater vertical length more stylish than windows with the same length & width.
But more important is the light & that is not provided by the current ones.
