Good morning,
I am looking for an alternative to the angle grinder!
1.) It is about the transition from the hallway to the living room (connecting the granite tiles to the porcelain stoneware). A 1 cm wide stainless steel strip will be placed in between.
2.) The already laid porcelain stoneware has been laid too far and needs to be shortened by about 2 cm for visual reasons.
3.) The laid porcelain stoneware cannot be removed and re-laid accurately at this spot because these tiles are no longer available anywhere in Germany. (All research inconclusive)
4.) Therefore, I only have ONE chance to do everything right.
a) with the angle grinder no straight cuts
b) with the angle grinder pieces of the tiles sometimes chip off
c) not to mention the dust
5.) Therefore, I am looking for a suitable tip for a saw from above with a stop angle or something similar.
6.) Tip on how to control the dust. (Otherwise I would practically build a "tent" around the spot)
7.) Alternatively, maybe a tip on how I can safely remove the tiles without breakage and then cut to size. (They are glued with flexible adhesive. Size 66 cm x 33 cm)
Grateful for any advice
Regards, Wolfgang
