Hello everyone,

does anyone currently have experience with delivering, setting, and backfilling angle stones (L-stones) made of concrete by the landscape gardener? We would like to create a small plateau in our valley-side garden. At the highest point, it is between 0.8 - 1.0 m. Towards the slope, the height of the angle stones should decrease so that you only have the 0.8 m to 1.0 m high plateau created and then it basically transitions into the slope. What should one realistically plan per running meter? It is about 30-40 m, so quite a lot. Is 500 € per running meter enough for everything? Or is it rather more?

We once had an offer for a height compensation of 60cm for about 200€ per running meter. Now we will do it with shuttering stones, which is even cheaper. It is probably no longer as suitable for 1m...

Yes, that's enough. 300-400 would be relatively normal. Is the access easily drivable?

Yes, the property/garden is accessible from two sides via roads. So if I roughly estimate around 400€, I should be able to find someone in BaWü as well?

In Thuringia, that's definitely enough! The expensive part is more the preparation, like the foundation, excavation, and additional concrete at the corners. If that's not needed, you'll easily have some left over.

Well, I mean the complete service including foundation etc. pp. We had also considered tackling it ourselves. We have already operated all the equipment. Only I don't know if it would really be manageable on the scale involved.
