Cupboard for utility room

We solved it like this. Under the window, washing machine, dryer, utility sink with a bucket underneath. On the wall opposite, a large cupboard for winter jackets, coats. Heirloom, not for sale. Opposite the technology on wall three, I placed an Ikea cupboard, Billy 45 cm deep, which holds canned goods, gin, rum, Doppelkorn, cola, cat food, cleaning cloths, gasoline for washing, and much more.

we immediately had a platform built into the shell construction... Now the washing machine and dryer stand at a great height, each on such a rubber mat, and nothing slips. We don't have cabinets above, I wouldn't be able to reach them without a ladder anyway, so only stuff you don't need would go in there – and that can better go straight into the trash. We don't like IKEA (anymore), I would ask a carpenter for something like that once. It certainly doesn't cost 3000€, is very sturdy and fits 100%.

I don't think much of Ikea either, but I find Metod completely sufficient for storage rooms or the like.

Of course the quality is sufficient - we just hate the way the taxes are handled... we do not support something like that if it can be done differently.
