Create a splash guard from gravel yourself

Good argument, I didn't even notice. And where there is no insulation, like the garage?

No idea. Surely less is enough...

I read earlier in a blog that the person only did 5cm of gravel. I was only concerned with how much I have to dig out, I already have that easily :D

Update: We tried working on the garage and used stones that were already available. I haven't gotten any gravel yet; I've read that it's better to order it than to buy it at the hardware store. We haven't been able to agree on an edging stone for the house yet. I don't like the regular ones, but I can also understand my husband that the paving stones are too elaborate for him.
