That’s a word! Here one would probably rent an apartment, I’m not familiar with Hungary... Since I can’t see the photos (you can upload pictures directly here in the forum), I can’t say anything about the cracks either. But I would never base a purchase decision for a house on a remote diagnosis. Still, good luck! Sounds exciting!

Uhm, why can't you see the photos? I uploaded them and also added an external link. Well, here in Hungary there are many houses with cracks, you can't get anything decent in this price range. And you really can't see the pictures?

Sorry, I overlooked that this is about Hungary
But I can hardly imagine anyone here being tempted to say something about the severity of the cracks.
There are no remote diagnoses here

Got it. I just spoke with a contractor who didn’t find the cracks dramatic. He only said that probably all the plaster needs to be removed (2 layers with lime paint). If he comes on site, I can write an additional report. I understand that remote diagnoses are difficult and, of course, not very conclusive. But maybe someone would have recognized the cracks and said: oh, I’ve had those kinds of cracks for 20 years too and they’re no longer moving. That would have reassured me a bit. But every house is different, and you never really know what else might be waiting. I guess I’ll buy my surprise egg and see what’s inside. ^^
