Hello

We wanted to design the path to the house and the terrace this year.
Regular paving in the front and tiles (30x30) on the terrace.
The walkway and driveway are about 60 sqm. The terrace is about 40 sqm.

What costs should one realistically expect without counting the tiles themselves (Hesse)? Coarse gravel is already laid everywhere....

I found something on the internet including the substructure for 27 EUR/sqm. The first offer was now almost 50 EUR/sqm without the stones!!

I pay 20€/m² for the substructure (material and labor), and another 20€/m for laying the stones.

Substructure also means excavating and gravel or because we already have that here...

Correct. Provided that "already there" really refers to prepared (level, compacted) ground.

if the "substructure" which strictly speaking belongs to the superstructure since the substructure lies below the planum is already present and compacted, you calculate 3-5cm bedding. (for the driveway, concrete is recommended, it lasts forever! for terrace/garden paths, usually gravel is enough!!)

do you want to do it yourself or have it done? for slabs/concrete stones, you can calculate about 15€/m² just for laying without taxes/labor costs etc., then the aforementioned costs will be added. 60*15=900€ plus VAT, sales tax, machines & materials. important: if a company does it, agree on a flat rate price directly!!! squeezing the hours of the executing party doesn’t help

the material: a tip: to save costs, buying the slabs/paving directly from the manufacturer is often cheaper than getting it from the executing company as they add a few % on top as well as the bedding material (NOT IN THE DIY STORE!!!!!) compare prices!!

best to do it yourself, it’s not hard, almost anyone can do it with a little skill!

You do realize that the company working there also has to provide a warranty for the substructure...

completely wrong.
1: costs more
2: does not last forever

that can stand, although depending on the material whether high-quality or not, it may vary.

completely wrong.
manufacturers mostly work with building material dealers. ergo, you can only buy the paving through the building material dealers.
as a private person you get different prices than a company. and because of that you even pay more as a private person. companies get it cheaper and can also offer it cheaper.
