There were no prices listed there, but I always asked for the price of each item. I took the shower faucet for 600 instead of the built-in one for 1200 euros. I took the mirrored cabinet for 1300 instead of the one for 3000 euros. I didn’t just let everything be talked into me ;-)

The only thing I didn’t take from the house brand was the washbasin for the reasons mentioned above.

I was at two bathroom exhibitions. No prices.

We asked about everything, but we were almost always only given incomplete prices (e.g. the toilet was missing the lid, which then cost another €300, or plumbing for the washbasin, etc. etc.).

I think the secret is the word "exhibition," which is why they are allowed to obscure their prices like that. Extremely annoying.

Right, you can't take anything with you on site immediately. At Elements (bathroom showroom chain), there are also no marked prices and in the store there are only cumbersome and approximate prices. Some specialist companies or general contractors/subcontractors apparently pass on discounts, which is why they can never state the final price on site. There is then an offer afterwards, also with individual items.

Our installer - large company) explicitly advised us against going to bathroom exhibitions for exactly those reasons. Quote: even kitchen studios can learn from them when it comes to rip-offs.

It was the installer (a very large company in the Munich area) who sent me to the bathroom studio after measuring my bathroom. This wholesaler has something like a monopoly here in Munich and many installers send their customers there. :-/

Yes, and what are you supposed to do instead?
We were at two such exhibitions back then, the first offer made us drop our jaws, then we went to Elements and there we felt we selected items that looked similar to those in the first exhibition, but the price was significantly better.

Then we removed bathroom furniture and it worked.
