Costs for bathroom renovation in Munich

I chose the washbasin from Burgbad because I need a washbasin in my bathroom that is asymmetrical and less deep on one side. That's why I chose the Sinea, as it is only 40 cm deep on one side. Otherwise, I would likely have needed a custom-made piece from a carpenter.

I will get other offers to at least be able to compare. Unfortunately, I fear that I will end up in similar price ranges with other companies. If the whole thing would cost €33,000 in the end, that would still be somewhat acceptable. But nearly €40,000 for such a small bathroom with standard equipment is too much.

I don't see it that way. No prices are mentioned in the bathroom showroom. So if you go into such a showroom completely naïve and simply choose the things you like, that has nothing to do with being talked into something.
At that time, we explicitly asked several times and mentioned that the standard options were perfectly sufficient for us, and when we liked two similar items, we specifically asked which one of the two was cheaper.
