If the price were for the entire trade - then I would find it easier to assess. As I see it, we have formwork-smooth walls, which are spackled to Q2. This Q2 spackling costs €12,000 and is specified as such in the contract. Now, building on this Q2 spackling, there would be an improvement to Q3 + painter's fleece + painting - for the mentioned €28,000 on top. This also means: The entire trade for interior walls/ceiling painting would cost €40,000. And on this point, I am very uncertain whether this is not a defensive offer... The question is also: Will a painter make me an offer before the "shell construction" is completed - which will only happen with the house handover in two weeks...
