Cost of electric roller shutters for an entire single-family house

Hello everyone,

I am currently trying to talk my wife out of electric roller shutters for our planned new build, as these are probably very expensive.

Would someone tell me approximately what the total cost was for a complete house with you.

I wanted to at least limit the number of shutters before we get quotes, but unfortunately, I lack the arguments.

Manual upgrade to electric approx. €300 each with us. Complete removal of a roller shutter, however, no significant savings (<€100), as more masonry work is required. In prefabricated houses, possibly a larger difference if removed?

I’ll help you with arguments beyond the price: electric is - slower - in case of a power outage, you can’t just open it again - is possibly more prone to failure, breaks down faster Don’t forget the electrician costs with the additional expenses!
