Yes, with a garage and 180 sqm... it's already more of a comfort feature now, but since I do the electrical work myself, a socket costs me about €5, so you don’t have to save too much there. As I said, I think there should be at least 100 sockets.

We also did all the electrical work ourselves, yet I didn't see a need for more sockets and, as I said, I haven't missed any so far.
Our neighbor, for example, listed that he needs at least 4 sockets on each side of the bed for the bed, phone charger!!!, radio alarm clock, and something else...
For us, it wasn't a cost factor but rather the appearance that would bother me if everything was full everywhere.
In standard, I think we had about 45, which of course would have been too few, and as you say, even self-installed one costs about €5 including cable and frame.

It was also about the total amount, and if I deduct the material price (estimated), the electrician would have to work about 170 hours in the house. Even as a layman, I don't think I took that long...

Hello,

I have had a first offer for our electrical installation since yesterday.

We are also building in Bavaria. However, I planned KNX myself and will parameterize it myself, so no costs arise for this item.

If I now compare this with your offer:

- 54 sockets you vs. 122 we
- 1 buzzer you vs. 1 Mobotix IP intercom system we
- 3 TV sockets vs. 8 satellite sockets + satellite system
- 6 CAT7 cables you vs. 10 CAT7 cables including patch panel

also included:

- €1000 for KNX distributor + terminal blocks and small stuff
~€10,000 for KNX components including presence detectors and switches.
- Surge protection (€800)
- 8 networked smoke detectors
- Sockets etc. from the M-Smart series by Merten.

Connecting ventilation system + heating system with power will be added for us.

Our offer is at €31k including VAT.

It is now difficult to compare properly since much of it runs via KNX for us.
However, I somehow have the feeling that your offer is not exactly cheap for the performance.

On the topic of the meter cabinet, they seem to charge very well here. We have a 3-row one (I think 105cm wide) with 2 meter slots, thus 2 (expensive) SLS switches, 4 three-pole RCDs, about 50 circuit breakers (all Hager!!!) plus network socket, Eltako impulse relay, compartments, etc., basically everything you need for about €1300 !!! Your text doesn’t say which company the cabinet is from, the contractors like to leave that out and you get a decent & affordable one... I had ordered the cabinet with all components online, had to assemble it myself, but that was no big problem and everything worked out well... With our contractor it would have cost almost €3000 with this setup, so they generally charge well here since very few people get the cabinet themselves, for whatever reason...
