Hello dear house building friends :-)

In 2017 we built our house and in 2018 we moved in. Now, in 2023, we finally want to install and start using our wood stove :)

We chose the Oranier Vantage Neo W+ in steel (black) – although I have to say the color is more anthracite, but okay :-D

In the base plate I embedded a 150 KG pipe, the stove has a 100 connection at the bottom.

My question is, how do I get from 150 KG to 100 at the stove? I was thinking of using an aluminum flexible hose, first taking the size 150 and sliding it onto the KG pipe in the base plate, and then reducing from 150 aluminum flexible hose to 100 aluminum flexible hose and then connecting that to the stove.

I haven’t been able to look at everything yet, because a) the tile is still over the KG pipe and b) the stove is still packaged.

Can someone tell me which materials I need to connect the 150 KG to 100 at the stove?

Many thanks

Erik

Normally, there are connectors for the KG pipes (socket or not?). Connect the aluminum flex pipe to it – the same applies to the chimney. Accessories are available at the hardware store or in one of the thousands of online shops.

Slip the socket from 150 to 100 and then push the aluminum flex pipe over it and seal it with sealing tape? Is the flex hose also pushed over the connection on the stove?

When using Aunt Google, you probably only got as far as the forum ;-)

With all due respect... if you come at it with sealing tape and don't know pipe clamps... maybe you should just leave it alone?

I also expressed myself incorrectly, I wrote it in a hurry, please excuse me. Here again a bit more detailed:

In the floor slab, I have a 150mm KG pipe lying. On top of that is a 16cm floor buildup, finished with a floor tile.

If I now expose the KG pipe, I have 16cm of air below. I can’t put a pipe clamp over it there without cutting the floor up to about 250mm, which I wanted to avoid.

Simply inserting the Aluflex pipe into the floor and sealing it at the tile won’t be the best option, right?

I am basically looking for a way to connect my supply air in the floor slab with as little effort and as little waste of the floor tile as possible.
