Lay opinion greetings... the GÜ/window installer will not replace anything there. You might as well stand on your head.

Unless, of course, he doesn't feel like further stress, and the money is loose.

I am already aware that the corners of the windows are always ground. However, in this case it has been done very untidily in my opinion. Maybe I am just used to "better" windows and workmanship...

Oh, look at that. It is well known that this is absolutely normal.

One should not tolerate that, but an exchange is more like using a sledgehammer to crack a nut.

It just looks like it wasn't reworked. However, the window manufacturer can correct this afterwards with solvent or even simple sandpaper.

If this look and quality are normal and you were a craftsman, you would have had to declare bankruptcy many years ago ;-)

Don't see what is supposed to be normal about that either?!

It is normal that rework is done, which apparently has NOT happened here YET. Only the burr was mechanically removed after welding, and apparently the machine is not very precise.

But that is not a problem. You just have to mention it, and someone will come around and make the edge so that nothing is visible anymore.

Mosquitoes and elephants... mosquitoes and elephants...

P.S. I actually wanted to write something after the first response. But I refrained because I thought someone knowledgeable would come.

Unfortunately, that didn’t happen, so I ended up writing after all.

Have the window fitter come by again and rework the corners. Half an hour of work. Issue resolved.
