Or rather like this, if the guest room is supposed to be bigger.

And a silly question - parent bathroom - why are you planning two washbasins there? I know that's totally modern nowadays, but I would never come up with the idea of working at the sink simultaneously with my husband. And especially not in a bathroom only 2.50 meters narrow. I would even consider leaving the bathroom where it is and locating the dressing room in place of the kitchen. But the desired [EG Grundriss] just leaves me puzzled.

We should manage that. Of what exactly?

Oh, is that so? Sorry about that! I marked red as demolition, yellow as new construction. If I have a bit more time this evening, I will change the plans.

No, so far only discussed with the architect. The initial response was positive, but of course it still needs to be calculated by a structural engineer. I think this will be possible with some beams.

Yes, that's right, at first we will sleep upstairs. Later, that will be our office upstairs. I’d rather not have it "between" the children’s rooms, therefore the two children’s rooms are on the left and the office separated from them on the right side.

Unfortunately, there is a support pillar for the roof structure in the wall, so it is very complex to move the wall to the left. That’s why this zigzag solution.

Don't know either, habit? We currently also have two spots in our downstairs bathroom and somehow find it nice. Therefore, I included it in the new plan. But it's not a must. Besides, we are far from the fine design of the rooms ;) So a lot can still change.

We also discussed that; it is probably less effort since the bathroom could stay in place. However, as shown, we find the layout more harmonious. And since the bathroom needs to be redone anyway, we would relocate it in the process.

Why?
