We also have the supply air 1m next to the sofa, I don't notice anything there. In my room, however, it is noticeable at the desk. So it always depends. If possible, better to move it a bit away.
It is similar for us, just practically at the front edge of the sofa seat. I have never noticed anything there, which doesn’t necessarily mean anything, but my better half doesn’t mind it either, and she is quite sensitive.
Then it must be true after all. I have no feeling except hunger and thirst.
No, I can agree with you. We newly built in 2020 and have a fan at a similar distance from the sofa, and one directly next to the dining table. At the dining table, I can notice it if I sit directly and immediately beneath it. But I don’t perceive it as negative; I already have to raise my hand and get closer to really feel the air blowing out. When I sit there, only a breath reaches me. And I hardly ever notice the one near the sofa.
Based on the different statements here, I would suspect that it depends both on the ventilation system and the person how it is perceived.
Alright, I think we’ll leave the position as it is. Normally, we’re not that sensitive to drafts – it should be fine like that. Many thanks for your feedback!
