and has the new exchanger already brought any improvement? By how many percent has the humidity increased?

Can the enthalpy exchanger be replaced by yourself at Zehnder, or does this have to be done by a technician?

That is only slightly more difficult than changing filters on most systems.

If you can change a wheel on a car, then you should also be able to replace the heat exchanger.

I think typical maintenance work on the controlled residential ventilation system can be done by anyone. Just check YouTube.

In my observation, it is definitely cheaper to choose enthalpy as initial equipment rather than buying it later as an accessory.
how are you doing in your new home? You are not heard from much anymore.

We initially purchased without moisture recovery. There were several reasons.

On the one hand, the additional cost for us would have been €1,200. We can upgrade later. On the other hand, we hope that with the normal heat exchanger more moisture will leave the house at the beginning. My husband doesn’t mind if we then have two heat exchangers; he says that he would have a spare if needed or can quickly swap one out when he cleans one. I hope I understood that correctly. The ventilation system and the fireplace are more his area [emoji16]

I have now had the q350 offered instead of the normal one with enthalpy. The additional cost is almost exactly 500€. Compared to the retrofitting, which is almost half, I will now have it implemented directly this way. Thank you for the tips and the feedback, at least I discovered one mistake in advance.
