Doesn't it make sense, for example, to use the regular heat exchanger initially for the first two years for drying purposes?

That's exactly what we do. We convert as soon as the air is too dry..

Direct enthalpy. As mentioned, excess moisture is drained away through the condensate drain. There is no real added value in changing it only after 2 years.

Yes exactly, when the exchanger is saturated then it is saturated, it can only absorb and release a certain amount of moisture. Everything else behaves normally like with a regular exchanger and is indicated. Therefore, first without enthalpy then with is completely unnecessary.

Are there any specifications regarding the saturation level of the enthalpy exchanger? Unfortunately, I can't find anything at Zehnder. What if there is enthalpy and humidity over 70% in the house during the first two years, is there then a risk of mold formation?

We have inquired at Zehnder. Retrofitting is possible if needed, for example after the first 2 years, without any problems. This is how we will handle it and observe it during the winter months, where the humidity may be too low.
