Hi,

we have a great controlled ventilation system from Zehnder ComfoAir Q450 and are very satisfied. In winter, we set the ventilation performance to level 1 (reduced). Currently, the rooms are dry with about 35% humidity. Especially in the living room with the use of the tile stove, it sometimes even drops below 30%. What to do?

We are thinking about installing a humidifier in the living room (just under 60 sqm).

Do you have any tips on this? Generally regarding too low humidity?

Best regards, Barossi

The system can be retrofitted with an enthalpy heat exchanger that recovers moisture. Just google "400502010". However, it costs around €900.

But it is the only correct solution; one should not start with a humidifier.

Hi,

Perfect! €900 is not a bargain, but in the long run, it's the best.

Can a private person change it themselves?

Best regards, Barossi

We have installed a Zehnder Q350 with an enthalpy exchanger.

I am just starting to familiarize myself with the device; yesterday I installed the KNX module and began parameterizing it. Nevertheless, it is already apparent, and something we also notice: we should not have any problems with air that is too dry.

Simply super comfortable; I am glad I insisted on the enthalpy exchanger.
