So of course you cannot count BAföG for the bank, but only the income counts there. However, if that is secured and sufficient on its own, why should the bank then refuse the financing? BAföG itself will therefore not be a deal-breaker, but apparently another component does not fit or the financial structure without BAföG simply does not work.

Maybe you could present the financial situation a little more precisely?!

Detach yourself from BAföG. There are plenty of families where only one partner works and the other does not. So an unemployed person with a working partner can get a loan. No difference to you. One partner on BAföG, the other working.
And yes, that works excellently. Personally experienced as the "breadwinner" of the family with a then non-working wife. So not just a banker’s perspective.

Just open a new thread in which you describe your family situation. Who does what and earns what, or what expenses or liabilities are present.

Don't understand a word. What is the income, equity, and loan amount?

Something is not right there. Is the 4000 gross? In the other thread you write equity, which can also mean gross. How much BAföG do you get? If in the end 2500€ net come out plus BAföG, then I am not surprised. But I admit that I have no idea about BAföG. But I understand it as simply not being counted. Aside from that, the house calculation is not correct. But that should not be discussed here and now.

I’m trying again with an intermediary. Let’s see what comes of it. But I think we have to postpone the project until I finish my studies and earn a regular income;(

It’s about 3500 net with [BAföG] but as I said, [BAföG] doesn’t matter. I also don’t think another bank will cooperate even if we have land + equity.

I’ll keep you updated.

and 500€ will also be added as additional support from grandparents, but the bank is not interested in that either.
