Construction supervision Why/ How often / Where from

Who spends 300k+ on a house, has no idea about construction and/or rarely visits the construction site and does not have 5k left for accompanying quality control, probably didn't hear the shot.

It's not always just about defects. For me, it is also a very reassuring feeling when the [Bausparvertrag] highlights the good and clean work of the shell builder after an inspection. You simply have a secure feeling that there is no botching.

We had the VQC (similar to TÜV) accompany us in 2020. Very satisfied and top qualified people. However, in my case, it was not a new building but a complete renovation of a multi-family house (1920) + extension. With their support, I was able to get to know the house very well, create a renovation plan, and always have a very good feeling about the work carried out. In other words, I was continuously advised and then able to talk to the craftsmen of individual trades and accordingly ask the right questions. Before that, I had zero knowledge of construction and would get the experience again at any time through a building expert.
