No risk no fun. Or what risk am I taking? Fire insurance would be a must for me. It is free if you take the building insurance with the company for the finished house. You pay after completion. You need building insurance anyway. So, take it out. Check. Another must is liability insurance. You have that. Check. Now it’s about risk, construction all-risk insurance. As long as, for example, the heating is not installed and paid for, it belongs to the plumber. His risk. But after payment, it becomes yours. If it disappears now, it’s gone, and you pay for a new one. I have decided to take this risk and have waived the construction all-risk insurance. Others see it differently. Karsten

Yes, we are installing a KNX system, which costs over €50,000. That's just too risky for me.
